Order ProcessingOrders are processed and shipped out within one business day from the time your payment is received.  We send an email to notify you that your order has been shipped.  If you did not receive our email confirmation, your email provider may be blocking our emails, please check your spam or junk mail folder.  You can also find the status of you order by logging on to your payment account (Google Checkout or Paypal) and check the status of your order there.

Packaging, packing slips and return address: We protect the glass bottles by wrapping them with tissue paper and other packaging materials and we ship them in a shipping box a few inches larger than the bottle itself.  Due to the gift nature of our products, we do not include any invoices, receipts, or other price information in the packages.  The return address is our own address.  The information that the recipient receives about the sender is only what you write in the message that you send on the scroll, so make sure you sign your message so they know who they are getting the gift from.

Free Priority shipping within the USA: orders are shipped using the US Postal service "priority service", free of charge to you.  Estimated delivery times as published by the USPS are 2 to 3 business days, however it is not guaranteed.  This is the time it takes to ship the package once the post office receives it.  Your package is sent to the post office within one business day from receiving your paid order.

For example, if you place your order on Monday, your package will ship by Tuesday and will arrive on Thursday or Friday.  If you place your order on Friday, it will ship by Monday and arrive on Wednesday or Thursday.

Tracking is not available with this shipping option.  Delivery confirmation and Signature confirmation are available at an extra charge.  You must select these options when placing your order.

By using any priority shipping option we do not guarantee delivery on a specific day.  We would be glad to include a note on the package that says "Do not open until (certain date)", or "Open on (certain date)".  Use the contact form to send us an email immediately after you place your order to request this note.

Priority shipping with Delivery Confirmation:  If you purchase this option when placing your order, we will send you the Delivery Confirmation number by email once your shipment is processed.  The delivery time is the same as the Priority Service.  Delivery confirmation only provides you with the date the package was delivered.  It does not provide any information about who received it or any detailed tracking information.  Visit the USPS website at www.usps.com to learn about the delivery confirmation service.

Priority shipping with Signature Confirmation: If you purchase this option when placing your order, the postman will require a signature from the recipient in order to deliver the package.  If no one is available to receive the package, the postal service may try several times to deliver the package, or may leave a note requesting a signature.  If the package is not picked up within a certain time decided by the postal service, it may be returned to us or abandoned.  Visit the USPS website at www.usps.com to learn about the signature confirmation service.  We are not responsible for unclaimed packages or failure to deliver due to lack of a signing recipient.

Date Specific Deliveries: If you select a date specific delivery when placing your order, the courier will attempt to deliver the package between 8:00am and 7:00pm on that day.  If the courier is not able to  deliver the package because of lack of access to the delivery address or no one is available to receive it, a note may be left for the recipient at the point of access to the property and an attempt to redeliver the package will be made on the following business day.  If delivery fails again and the package is not claimed, it may be returned to us.  We are not responsible for failed delivery attempts.  We refund the returned orders the amount paid minus the shipping charge and 10% re-stocking fee.  Date specific deliveries are not available outside the USA, or to PO box or APO/FPO addresses.

US Express Shipping: Express orders are processed and shipped on the same business day the order is received if the order is received before 1:00pm US central time.  Orders received after that time may be shipped the same day or by the following business day.

Express orders are shipped via the US Express postal service, which is an overnight service to most US addresses.  To some address, such as non metropolitan addresses, the shipment takes 2 days to arrive.  The shipping charges are the same for express shipments, whether they take 1 or 2 days to arrive.

Deliveries and shipments cannot be made on Sundays or postal holidays.  In this situation the delivery will take place on the following business day.

A person must be present to receive and sign for an express package.  If the courier is not able to deliver the package because of lack of access to the delivery address or no one is available to receive it, a note may be left for the recipient at the point of access to the property, and an attempt to redeliver the package will be made on the following business day.  If delivery fails again and the package is not claimed, it may be returned to us.  We are not responsible for failed delivery attempts.  We refund the returned orders the amount paid minus the shipping charge and 10% re-stocking fee.  Express orders cannot be shipped to PO boxes or to APO/FPO addresses.

APO/FPO Addresses: we are glad to send your message in a bottle orders to APO and FPO addresses.  Only 10.5" round bottles are allowed for these addresses (wave bottles and gift baskets may not be used).  Choose the free priority shipping service when placing your order.  You are responsible to enter the complete shipping address during checkout including all the information required by the postal service (click here for more information about the postal requirements and scroll down to the "Addressing Military Mail" section).  Shipping to APO/FPO addresses may take longer than the normal priority service.  Express shipping service is not available for APO/FPO addresses.

International First Class: If you select this option your package will be sent by First Class postal service (Air Mail).  Delivery times vary by destination.  Please allow sufficient time for your package to arrive.  Traditionally, packages to Canada have taken 2 weeks to arrive, Europe 2 to 3 weeks, and to the rest of the world 4 to 5 weeks.  This service does not provide tracking and has no delivery time guarantee, therefore, we are not able to provide status information.  We will specify "message in a bottle" on the customs form, however the recipient will be responsible to pay any taxes or duties that may be imposed by the receiving country.

International Express: Delivery times vary by destination and range from 6 to 8 business days.  We will specify "message in a bottle" on the customs form, however the recipient will be responsible to pay any taxes or duties that may be imposed by the receiving country.  This service may not be available to all countries.

Ordering multiple itemsIf you are ordering more than one item and you want to send each item to a different address, please buy and checkout for each item separately so you can enter a different shipping address each time.  You can also use the multiple orders form (Click here).  If you wish to buy any product in large quantities, please contact us using the Contact US form and tell us about your request.

Undeliverable Orders: In the event the delivery courier is not able to deliver your order due to an error that is not our fault, and the package is returned to us, we will try to contact you by email to inform you of the problem.  You have the option to request to re-deliver the package (shipping charges apply), or cancel the order and receive a refund.  The refund amount will be the total paid less the shipping charges and 10% restocking fee, even if the order was shipped free of charge to you originally.
